Oslo Fjord Sauna is a non-profit, floating sauna dedicated to making a positive impact here in Bjørvika. As Oslo’s most affordable sauna, every single krone we earn goes directly to supporting Fjord CleanUP's mission: to clean and restore the Oslofjord back to life—a massive, ongoing effort!

Why are our saunas so vital?
Our saunas serve as much more than just a place to warm up. They are the heart of our community, providing a gathering space for volunteers after our fjord clean-ups every Sunday, all year round. They also act as crucial platforms for launching kayaks, free-dive training, and docking our clean-up boat.

The Challenge
Our current saunas are over 5 years old and, despite diligent care, they’re starting to wear out. Unlike other sauna organizations with large-scale operations and millions in revenue, our focus is on sustainable, community-driven work. We operate on a minimal budget, just enough to cover essentials like wood, maintenance, and part-time staff. When it comes to larger expenses—like replacing aging saunas, repairing boats, or purchasing heavy-duty cleaning equipment—we simply don’t have the funds.
