Stand With Gaza – When the World Turns Away, We Stay

Stand With Gaza was founded in 2019 by Ahmad, an English teacher from Northern Gaza, and a small group of volunteers who believed that no family should face hunger alone. What started with five determined souls became a promise—to stand with the poorest, the forgotten, and the broken-hearted.

For years, we have carried food with tired hands and hope with trembling hearts. We reached thousands of families who had nothing but patience and prayer. We depended only on the kindness of people who chose to care, even from far away.

Then the war came.

Homes disappeared.

Families were torn apart.

Children went to sleep hungry, cold, and afraid.

But we did not stop.

With everything we had left, we cooked thousands of hot meals while bombs echoed nearby. We delivered food parcels, hygiene kits, fruits, vegetables, clothes, and winter blankets to displaced families across Gaza—where dignity has become the rarest need.

And in the midst of this devastation… you helped us create moments of life.

At the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan, we were able to distribute 150 food parcels to displaced families in a camp in Deir Al-Balah. Each parcel, worth $60, carried more than food—it carried relief, dignity, and a message that they are not alone.

As Eid approached, we refused to let children greet it with empty hands and heavy hearts.

We distributed new clothes to most of the children in the camp, so they could smile again, feel seen, and celebrate like children everywhere deserve to.

Between these moments, we continued what matters most:

Providing clean drinking water daily,

and hot meals every single day—because survival here is not a one-time act, it is a continuous fight.

These are not just projects.

These are lifelines.

Today, we are still here.

Still standing.

Still refusing to give up on our people.

But we cannot do this alone.

Your donation is not just money.

It is a meal that stops hunger,

clean water that saves a life,

new clothes that restore a child’s joy,

a reminder to Gaza that it is not forgotten.

Om innsamler: Jeg er tobarnsmor, bor i Kristiansand. Jeg kom i kontakt med dette teamet via en fb-venn ( Entemaa Nemo) fra Gaza som fikk medisinsk evakuering med fire av sine fem barn juni 2024 etter en samlet innsats fra en gruppe fb-venner. Over mer enn to år opplever jeg at engasjementet for det Palestinske folket er en kraft av kjærlighet som svært mange deler. Ved hver innsamling ser jeg at mange bidrar på nytt og på nytt.
