On Football Shirt Friday, students and staff at BISS Gausel wore their favourite football shirts to show support for children and young people affected by cancer.

Through this fundraiser, we are supporting Barnekreftforeningen (the Norwegian Childhood Cancer Society) and their important work to fund life-saving childhood cancer research.

Today, 9 out of 10 children diagnosed with cancer survive thanks to advances in research and treatment. Football Shirt Friday highlights the importance of continuing that work for Player Number 10 – the child who did not get the chance to keep playing. Our goal is a future where no child dies from cancer.
