Get better Nori!
On the 10. of July, Nori came home limping, with a pulled tail and difficulty breathing. At the clinic we found out that his intestines had moved up into his diaphragm and were pushing against his lungs. His condition was critical.
He underwent emergency surgery the same night to place his intestines back where they belong, and the operation was successful. Still, his chances are only 50/50. The next 48 hours will tell us more, but he will most likely need another surgery to have his tail amputated.
We don’t know what happened to him. It could have been a car (even though the injuries don’t completely match that), he might have been stuck hanging from a tree, or it could have been a person...
So far I’ve spent 48205kr on the surgery, 7700kr on the first vet check-up, and 914kr on medication. I’ve been fortunate to be able to borrow the money. I just couldn’t let him go.
Nori is the sweetest and most social cat I’ve ever met, my best friend and a friend to many. I can’t imagine my life without him.
Please donate if you can – anything helps.
Nori and Lily ❤️
