This week Sparta got his special shoes on. 2100 NOK and I had to buy protectors so he wont step on them and pull them off. 

Today the vet came. 

Last time Sparta was lame 2-3 on the left and 2 on the right leg. (3 is worst). This time we got down to a 1 on the left leg and a 0 on the right 🥳

Two injections into the left leg today and one into the knee which unfortunately was not that much better - but the vet is still in good spirits.

Otherwise he is enjoying his life and seems happy. Well not today as he has to stand in the stable until tomorrow. He really is not a fan of that 😂

Vet bill today: 4500 NOK -

Sparta moved to the new stables today. Here everything is really good for him and his legs. 

I also finally found a blacksmith, so next wednesday he will get shoes, specially made for horses with his kind of problems.

Most likely he has to get new shoes every 6-7 weeks for a while then. 

Tough call, but we will make it. He is worth it - for sure.
