Hvert minste bidrag teller!
Takk på forhånd Adib, Rozhe, Shler, Chro og Azhin
On September 28th, The Iranian regime attacked the refugee camp of “Azadi” located in Koya city, 70 km from the capital city of The Kurdistan region, Erbil. Among other things, the Iranian regime attacked a primary school and a hospital. Luckily the school administration managed to get the students to safety just minutes before the Iranian missiles hit the school.
The attack took the lives of many civilians, including a pregnant woman and a one-day old child.
In the aftermath of the attack more than 100 children have lost their school, and over 300 families have been left homeless, since it is still extremely dangerous to return to their homes.
The children and their families are the most vulnerable ones now, the children have lost their school and each family will have to share a small house or a shelter with 3-4 other families. Most of them have not managed to bring their clothes or any daily need with them when they had to flee. That’s why they need our help now. Help from me, you, and everyone around us. Let’s provide the children with warm winter jackets and the mothers with some hope! Your help will make a small but necessary difference.
A group of us who grew up in this refugee camp are now trying to raise some money so that we could help these families in need. We will be traveling back to Kurdistan personally, so that we make sure the help will be divided fairly among those who need it the most.
We would really appreciate any help we could get in this matter!
