Om en måneds tid setter min mor og jeg kursen mot Somalia, med en klar visjon: Å bygge en lekeplass og en fotballbane for de foreldreløse barna i Barwaqo Village, Burco.

Vi ønsker å skape en arena hvor de kan finne glede i hverdagen, oppleve samhold og styrke sin utvikling gjennom lek og felleskap - noe et hvert barn behøver for å opprettholde en god livskvalitet. I Barwaqo Village mangler barna denne muligheten, men sammen kan vi bidra til å gi dem dette.

Forholdene i Barwaqo Village slik det er nå

• 60 familier bosatt

• Overkant av 200 foreldreløse barn

• Det har de siste årene blitt bygget: En liten legeklinikk, en liten skole, og en vannbrønn for de foreldreløse barna.

Og nå kan de forhåpentligvis endelig få et gøyal møtepunkt også – Hjelp oss å få det til! :D

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said in the following Hadith:

“By He in whose hand is my soul, Allah will not punish the one who shows compassion to orphans, speaks gently to them, and feels mercy for them, whether they are orphans or poor.” (Narrated by Thabrani from Abu Hurairah).

In about a month's time, my mother and I will set off for Somalia with a clear vision: To build a playground and a football field for the orphaned children in Barwaqo Village, Burco.

We aim to create a space where they can find joy in their daily lives, experience unity, and strengthen their development through play and community—a fundamental need for every child to maintain a good quality of life. The children in Barwaqo Village currently lack this opportunity, but together, we can help provide it.

Current situation in Barwaqo Village:

• 60 families reside here

• Over 200 orphaned children

• In recent years, the following have been built: A small medical clinic, a small school, and a water well for the orphaned children.

And now, they might finally get a fun meeting place too – Help us make it happen! :D
