Wow. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. We finshed the fundraiser at 77% of our goal, with 190,000 NOK. That lets us enter the autumn from a very secure spot, knowing we won't be wiped out by any unexpected expenses. It also lets us move forward with big plans for the future!

Thanks to many donations, big and small, we've crept past 50% and we're heading into our final week! Our hearts are very full here at the store, especially from all the notes and in person visits we've had from long-time fans and brand new visitors. Your love of the shop and engagement with the community amazes us.

Keep spreading the word in these final days if you can, whether in person or in cyberspace. Every bit counts!

Finally, a small note: to all who have donated already and chosen a reward, you'll receive them after the fundraiser has ended! We will be printing and producing all the physical items then, and contacting those who choose recommendations. You will get an email with all the info about when you can pick them up or get them mailed (depending on if you live in Oslo area).

What can I say except WOW. I have said it nearly every day since we started, but I am truly blown away by the generosity, engagement, and support of the Prismatic Pages community.

We are at 42% of our goal, with 18 days to go. Thank you to each and every one of you who has donated, shared, spread the word, supported, written messages of encouragement, and more.

As for what we’re going to do with the money, if you need a reminder here are some of our goals and aspirations:

• Create a rainy-day buffer fund in case of any unexpected expenses over the next years
• Start an independent publishing company focusing on local authors
• Introduce a monthly fiction book club
• Create and host mini literature festivals
• Provide a wider variety of inventory and more new releases
• Staff to make sure you get the best possible experience – great recommendations, personalized service, gift wrapping, etc.
• And much more!

For me, Prismatic Pages’ success rides on it not just surviving, but thriving, and in this crucial period at the start (remember, we’ve only been in business for 20 months, the shop is still a toddler!), we need all the help we can get. Because we plan to be here for years to come.
