Vi har fått daglige oppdateringer fra en nær venninne av Antonio i Thailand og i dag fikk jeg denne ❤️
I just called the nurse in the ICU to ask for an update on Antonio, and I have some really good news to share.
They told me that Antonio is now fully awake and no longer sleeps throughout the day. Today, the doctor helped him practice breathing on his own, and he’s doing very well breathing normally without getting tired. The nurse said he’s really strong.
At this point, the main issue is just the metal rod in his left leg. There are no other critical concerns. The nurse even asked if you’re planning for him to return to Norway, because medically, he’s stable enough that he could be moved to a normal room likely within a day and no longer needs to stay in the ICU.
Their suggestion is to let him rest and recover for about one more week. After that, a full assessment can be done to see if he’s ready to fly home.
The most important thing is: there is no more danger now. He’s in a stable condition, and things are truly moving in a good direction. ❤️
