H&M supports TV-aksjonen: Support Office edition
H&M is supporting this year’s TV aksjonen and Care by engaging all of our customers and employees to sing up as “bøssebærer” and go out to collect donations on Sunday October 20th.
We would like to challange YOU, our collegues at SO, to donate to this Spleis account (however much you like) and then H&M will MATCH the total sum and donate to TV-aksjonen on Sunday the 20th of October.
You can remain anonymous if you want.
A lucky SO collegue that donates to the Spleis account will be randomly chosen and gets "first dips" at the next Sample Sale: Pre-shopping and a personal stylingsession with our Showroom manager. A true VIP treament!

Erhh sorry but...what is TV-aksjonen again?
TV-aksjonen ("The TV Campaign/Auction) is an annual national Norwegian charity fund raising event run by NRK since 1974, in conjunction with selected organizations. The fundraiser is the world's largest, measured in terms of donated value per capita and number of participants. In one afternoon 100.000 volunteers called “bøssebærere” walk from door to door, collecting donations. Last year, TV-aksjonen collected 257,4 million NOK!
The event is big part of Norwegian culture and the phenomenon of “dugnad”, working together as group to do good . The campaign is held on a Sunday in October each year, and on that dat NRK devotes the airtime to the years topic. This year it is Care, https://care.no/ with the slogan: Now it’s her turn with donations going to supporting and empowering 400.000 women to get out of poverty and to take back the ownership of their bodies and lives.
